Jawa House story begins with ours...
​
And ours began in 2017 when we met on the deck of a sailboat called Matador, and set off to explore the Whitsunday Islands on the East Australian coast.
It's clear, islands are our thing!
​
It only took two days after our chance metting on that boat for us to know that we would continue our journey together.
​
After two years in Australia, a few months in South-East Asia, and a year in New Zealand, our hearts were drawn back to Indonesia.
We had spent four months on Gili T during our travels, and it was instantly obvious to both of us this was the island that we would now call ''home''.
​
During your stay with us, Cloe will welcome you home and share all the hidden secrets of the island.
​
And Ben, a scuba diving instructor, will be happy to show you the underwater treasures of the Gili islands.

Spend a day in rythm with the island
​
Take your time and enjoy a relaxing start to the morning in your Jawa House villa. After a good breakfast, a cycle around the island is just what you need.
​
Next, take a walk barefoot in the sand while sipping on a fresh coconut before
heading to Cloe's local spot for lunch.
After lunch, a stan-up paddle session is a freat option. Swap your paddle for a mask and snorkelto visit our island celebrities and enjoy the afternoon swimming with turtles!​
Before you head to sunset, stop at Cloe's favourite spa for a massage.
Tucked away within the island, this hidden gem is the perfect place to relax and rejuvenate.
There are two options to end this wonderful day of island living.​

For a chilled evening, head to the West coast of Gili T to swing with your feet in the ocean while watching the sunset. Then, grab yourself a cocktail, sit around a bonfire and listen live music.. an atmosphere guaranteed to end the day in style!

But in Gili T, you have several possibilities.
If you are more in a party mood, it's all happening on the East side of the island. The night market is the place to go for taste of the local culture. After enjoying the grilled fish, stretch your legs and dance in one of many night barsalong the beach and maybe take a midnight dip in the ocean.
